LEAD THE ROBOT UPRISING!

Helsinki Robot Uprising is the greatest 48 hour robot hackathon race in Finland. Organised together with Vincit, Barona Technologies and KONE. It’s a real-world, hands-on engineering and design challenge. 
The competition will take place in Helsinki, Finland, August 25–27th in Airo Island, the home of artificial intelligence, IoT and automation.

CHALLENGE

A twisted race track with five brain-racking challenges will be your obstacle before you can break free! You’ll design, build and program Lego Mindstorms robots to pass these trials as fast and as well as possible.

PARTICIPANTS

Whether you're a college student, a techie, or a regular robot enthusiast, bots don’t care, as
long as you bring them salvation! Prior experience with programming is desirable, but not required. This is a perfect chance to build up your skills and exercise your liberating powers! You can participate with a team or come on your own.

TEAMS

After final teams are formed, they will become part of one of our four constructors, run by companies including KONE, Vincit and Barona Technologies. The constructors will provide teams with support as well as special challenges.

RULES

All we ask is you use the parts provided. Aside from that, all bets are off and the bots are at your mercy!

AWARDS

The winners will get awesome prizes from organizers and sponsors, in addition to the eternal devotion of the robots! More will be announced closer to the event.
